2. Determination of which media reach the target audience best
a. Traditional Mass Media
(1) radio- Along with the web and poster ads, a radio will be used and placed on local radio stations.
(2) television- No TV ads at the moment since we in the introductory stage and don't enough funds to buy a commercial slot.
(3) newspapers- No, not many people read the newspaper as in the past so doing so will be close to a waste of money.
(4) magazines- No magazine ads at the moment because these ads, being full color and high resolution, tend to be more expensive.
(5) Outdoor- Posters will be put up by the train stations across the country (the poster ad), similar to the ones seen in the NYC subways.
b. Interactive media
(1) Direct Response- A toll free telephone number and email address will be available for customer services. Using this we can tell if the ad is good and working and effective. Using this, we can also build up a good, positive reputation.
(2) Digital Media- We will be posting our products on our social media and banner ads on websites (web ad).
c. Support media
(1) Trade Shows- Polish Me Pretty will attend beauty trade shows. We can participate in them where we can showcase our products for people and can see our competition.
(2) Sales Promotion Devices- We will have various giveaways throughout the year celebrating the holidays, Polish Me Pretty's anniversary, new products and our subscription boxes.
(3) Publicity/public Relations- We will hire a well known person or a celebrity to to promote our products. This will be done at a later stage since this will be costly for a start up company to do.
(4) off-the-wall media- No off-wall-media will be used.
